SynthID vs C2PA

Pixels vs. Metadata

The war on digital tracking currently has two distinct fronts: metadata injection and pixel permutation.

C2PA (The Metadata Approach)

C2PA is fragile. Because it relies on data chunks injected into the file header (like EXIF), it can be easily and losslessly stripped by tools like ours. However, if the file is unmodified, the cryptographic signature is legally robust and verifiable.

SynthID (The Pixel Approach)

SynthID is incredibly resilient. Because the tracking code is embedded in the spatial frequency of the pixels themselves via a neural network, it survives cropping, screenshots, and compression. Defeating SynthID requires active, destructive countermeasures.
